About the Role

The Manager of Turbine Support is accountable for the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the turbine support function. This includes planning, coordinating, and directing all activities related to turbine maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximizing asset availability. Leadership of a team of technicians and support staff is essential, requiring the ability to mentor, develop, and motivate personnel to achieve operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the planning, execution, and oversight of all turbine maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company procedures, and environmental standards.
• Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing turbine reliability, efficiency, and operational performance.
• Manage the budget and resources allocated to the turbine support department.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Develop and implement strategies for preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to assigned technicians and support staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in turbine maintenance, operations, or a related power generation discipline.
• Proven leadership experience managing a team responsible for critical equipment maintenance.
• Strong understanding of turbine systems, including mechanical, electrical, and control aspects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical data.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of maintenance management systems and best practices.
