Head of Legal (Based in Indonesia)

The Head of Legal will provide comprehensive legal leadership for FL Technics Group, a global provider of aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul services, operating from its Jakarta headquarters as part of the Avia Solutions Group.

Key Duties

• Oversee all legal affairs across the company’s international operations, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and local laws.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts related to MRO projects, aircraft leasing, and partnership agreements.
• Advise senior management on risk management, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance matters.
• Lead a team of legal professionals, fostering professional development and delivering high‑quality legal support.
• Manage litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution processes, safeguarding the company’s interests.
• Coordinate with external counsel and regulatory bodies to address industry‑specific legal challenges.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
• Monitor changes in aviation law and integrate necessary updates into corporate practice.

Essential Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with significant experience in aviation or aerospace law, preferably within an MRO environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in contract management, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution.
• Strong leadership abilities and capacity to manage cross‑functional legal projects.
• Excellent command of English and Bahasa Indonesia; familiarity with other relevant languages is advantageous.
• Strategic mindset with a track record of influencing business decisions through legal insight.
