Description

We are collaborating with a fast‑growing, internationally‑focused wealth solutions platform that is seeking to expand its ultra‑high‑net‑worth insurance and wealth‑structuring practice across Asia. The role is a newly created senior commercial position within the organization’s commercial team, reporting to senior leadership and offering the opportunity to shape growth strategies in a high‑net‑worth market. The position will play a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s go‑to‑market approach and driving sustainable revenue growth across the region.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead commercial initiatives aimed at acquiring new high‑value clients, deepening relationships with existing ultra‑wealthy accounts, and driving revenue from insurance and wealth‑structuring solutions throughout the region. This position will involve close collaboration with product, advisory, and investment teams, as well as occasional travel to key markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a commercial strategy for ultra‑high‑net‑worth insurance and wealth‑structuring services across Asian jurisdictions.
  • Identify and prospect high‑net‑worth prospects, translating market insights into tailored value propositions.
  • Manage complex sales cycles, from initial engagement through contract negotiation and closing.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and exceptional client service.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to craft thought‑leadership content for target client segments.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5‑7 years of experience in commercial leadership within wealth management, insurance, or professional services firms serving ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients.
  • Proven track record of revenue growth and client acquisition in Asia, preferably in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong network of ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals, family offices, and private banks.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while influencing senior leadership across the organization.
  • Tertiary education in finance, business, or a related discipline; professional certifications are advantageous.
