Description

You willbe part of a dedicated team responsible for the comprehensive oversight and execution of leasing planning and implementation activities for designated properties managed by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA). Your role will involve developing and implementing effective leasing management strategies to optimize the utilization and value of these key assets. Your core focus will be on ensuring the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of leasing initiatives across assigned properties.

About the Role

This position offers a strategic opportunity to contribute significantly to the MPA's property portfolio management. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive the planning, execution, and optimization of leasing activities. Your expertise will be crucial in translating leasing strategies into tangible outcomes, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals for asset utilization and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and oversee the implementation of comprehensive leasing strategies for assigned MPA properties.
  • Coordinate and manage the leasing planning process, including market analysis, feasibility studies, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Execute effective leasing management strategies to maximize asset utilization, revenue, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies throughout the leasing lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with project teams, property managers, and other departments to integrate leasing objectives with broader project and operational goals.
  • Monitor leasing performance metrics and provide regular reporting and insights to support decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in leasing processes and implement best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Real Estate, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive proven experience (minimum 8-10 years) in project controls, property leasing, or a similar strategic asset management role, with a strong focus on planning and implementation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing leasing strategies within a public sector or large organizational context.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
  • Understanding of relevant leasing regulations and best practices is advantageous.
