Financial Controller

About the Role

The Financial Controller will champion financial best practices and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial reporting and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops and implements comprehensive financial strategies and plans aligned with company objectives.
• Leads the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for management and stakeholders.
• Manages the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the company.
• Oversees all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
• Ensures strict compliance with all financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal controls.
• Provides financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Leads and mentors the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and management within a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax compliance, and internal controls.
• Exceptional analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
