JTC Corporation is seeking a Manager to join its Security Division's Planning team based in Singapore. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic planning and development of security projects specifically designed to enhance the overall security posture across Jurong Island (JI). The successful candidate will contribute directly to the creation and implementation of initiatives that bolster the safety and resilience of this critical industrial hub.
About the Role
You will be a core member of the Planning team, responsible for the end-to-end development of security projects. This involves translating strategic security objectives into actionable plans, managing project lifecycles from conception through execution, and ensuring deliverables align with the division's goals for JI. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness of security measures protecting the island's infrastructure and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive security project plans and strategies aligned with JI's security requirements.
- Lead the planning and coordination of security development initiatives across the Jurong Island area.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and potentially external partners to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful delivery.
- Contribute to the overall enhancement of security capabilities and resilience for Jurong Island.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Security Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in security planning, project management, or a similar strategic role, preferably within a corporate or industrial setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess security needs and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
