Michael Page is seeking a General Manager of Human Resources (GM HR) to lead the strategic development and execution of human capital initiatives within our Jakarta office. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader capable of aligning talent strategies with the organization's overarching objectives to foster a high-performing, engaged workforce.

About the Role

The GM HR will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive human resource strategies that directly support the company's growth and operational goals. This encompasses the full lifecycle of talent management, from strategic workforce planning and recruitment to performance management and employee development, ensuring the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements human capital strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Oversees all talent acquisition processes, ensuring efficient and effective hiring practices.
  • Manages talent management programs, including performance evaluations and development initiatives.
  • Leads employee retention strategies to minimize turnover and maintain a skilled workforce.
  • Provides strategic HR leadership and advisory support to senior management.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally within a similar industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic HR plans.
  • Strong expertise in talent acquisition, management, and retention best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of Indonesian labor laws and HR practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in HRIS systems and data analysis.
