QA Test Lead

We areseeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks that ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. In this role, you will collaborate closely with development, QA, and other stakeholders to define and implement effective testing strategies. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the automation initiative forward, improving test coverage, and reducing manual effort while enhancing overall product quality.

About the Role

You will be responsible for leading the creation and evolution of our automated testing infrastructure. This involves designing scalable, maintainable frameworks that can efficiently validate complex software features and functionalities. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality before release.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts using appropriate technologies and methodologies.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and define effective test strategies and automation plans.
• Develop and execute automated test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and stability.
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability through automation.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues within automated test suites and execution environments.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers and automation specialists.
• Participate in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure seamless test execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience (3+ years) as an Automation Test Engineer or similar role, focusing on designing and implementing automated test frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) and experience with web automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
• Experience with test management tools and version control systems (e.g., Jira, Git).
• Understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is highly desirable.
