Your focus will be on implementing and maintaining robust safety and health protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and fostering a proactive safety mindset across the organisation. This is a chance to make a tangible impact on the safety landscape of Singapore's vital transport infrastructure. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop, implement, and review comprehensive safety and health policies, procedures, and programs aligned with LTA's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements. * Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and recommend effective control measures. * Provide expert guidance and training to staff at all levels on safety practices, emergency procedures, and health awareness. * Investigate incidents and near misses thoroughly, analysing root causes and developing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. * Collaborate closely with operational teams, engineering departments, and external stakeholders to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution. * Maintain accurate records and reports related to safety performance, incidents, and compliance activities. * Support the management of safety and health initiatives, including the promotion of a positive safety culture and continuous improvement efforts. **Requirements** * A bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in safety and health management, with demonstrable experience in a similar role within a transport, construction, or infrastructure environment. * Proven ability to develop and deliver effective safety training programs. * Strong understanding of Singapore's safety and health legislation (e.g., Workplace Safety and Health Act) and relevant industry standards. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to engage effectively with diverse audiences. * Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks. * Relevant professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are advantageous.
