Assistant Manager/ Manager (Estate & Property Services)

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring JTC Corporation's portfolio of vacant factories is managed effectively. This position involves overseeing the maintenance and preparation of these properties for handover to incoming tenants, ensuring they are in optimal condition. Your work will directly contribute to JTC's operational efficiency and tenant satisfaction within the Singapore property market.

About the Role

This is a leadership position within JTC's Estate & Property Services division. You will be responsible for the strategic oversight of a portfolio of vacant industrial properties. Your primary focus will be on ensuring these assets are maintained to a high standard and are ready for immediate occupancy by new tenants. This involves coordinating with various stakeholders and managing external service providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of JTC's vacant factory portfolio.
• Ensure all properties are maintained in a clean, safe, and functional condition suitable for tenant handover.
• Oversee the performance and deliverables of outsourced facilities management contractors.
• Coordinate repairs, renovations, and general upkeep activities across the portfolio.
• Conduct regular inspections to assess property conditions and identify maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline processes.
• Report on portfolio status, maintenance activities, and contractor performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in property management, facilities management, or a related field, preferably within industrial or commercial real estate.
• Proven track record of managing maintenance contracts and overseeing contractors.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with tenants, contractors, and internal departments.
• Understanding of property maintenance standards and health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
