Tax Specialist

We are seeking a Tax Specialist to join Nestlé Indonesia in Jakarta, where you will contribute to the finance team of the world’s largest food and beverage company.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate income tax returns and related tax filings in accordance with Indonesian tax regulations.
• Conduct thorough tax research to interpret new legislation and ensure compliance with local and international tax standards.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing documentation and explanations of tax positions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise tax planning strategies and manage indirect taxes such as VAT and sales tax.
• Maintain accurate tax records and assist in the preparation of tax provision analysis for financial reporting.
• Monitor changes in tax law and advise management on potential impacts on the business.
• Participate in tax planning projects aimed at improving cash flow and reducing tax liabilities within legal frameworks.

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Several years of experience in tax compliance or tax advisory, preferably within a multinational corporation, are preferred. Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently in a fast‑paced environment are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with tax software tools are advantageous.
