About the Role
You will lead initiatives focused on enhancing construction productivity within Singapore. This involves developing and implementing strategies to promote the adoption of advanced manufacturing methods, such as prefabrication, modular construction, and digital fabrication, across the construction industry. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of construction delivery in Singapore.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to boost construction productivity, leveraging advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and best practices in advanced manufacturing applicable to the construction sector.
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders, including developers, contractors, and technology providers, to foster adoption and overcome implementation barriers.
- Design and manage pilot projects to demonstrate the viability and benefits of advanced manufacturing approaches in real-world construction scenarios.
- Provide technical guidance and support to industry players on implementing advanced manufacturing solutions effectively.
- Contribute to the development of industry standards, guidelines, and training programs related to advanced manufacturing in construction.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in construction management, project leadership, or a related role within the built environment sector.
- Proven track record in driving innovation and implementing productivity improvements within construction projects or processes.
- Strong understanding of the Singapore construction industry landscape and key challenges related to productivity.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence diverse groups.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, develop strategic solutions, and translate them into actionable plans.
- Experience in technology adoption and change management within the construction sector is highly desirable.
