Duty Engineer

About the Role

The Duty Engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining the hotel's technical systems and physical assets. Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on all hotel equipment and systems.

• Coordinate with external contractors and internal departments to manage maintenance projects and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Duty Engineer or similar role within the hospitality or facilities management sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying potential issues.
• Good communication skills to liaise with guests, staff, and external partners.
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are advantageous.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
