About the Role

The Purchasing Staff will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and procuring essential goods and services required for the restaurant's daily operations. This involves building and maintaining strong relationships with reliable suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The role demands meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving within the procurement process.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the purchase of fresh ingredients, beverages, and restaurant supplies from approved vendors.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and supplier performance.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to optimize costs while ensuring quality.
• Process purchase orders and manage supplier invoices and payments.
• Monitor market trends and supplier options to identify potential improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all company procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role within the food service or hospitality industry.
• Proven ability to source quality products at competitive prices.
• Strong negotiation skills and relationship-building capabilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in using procurement software or spreadsheets.
