The Assistant Front Office Manager at the upcoming Manado Marriott Resort & Spa plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the front office department, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and supporting the overall success of this landmark mixed-use development. **About the Role**
You will be responsible for assisting the Front Office Manager in managing all front desk operations, including check-in/check-out, guest registration, room assignments, and billing. Your focus will be on maintaining high standards of guest service, resolving guest inquiries and complaints efficiently, and ensuring the smooth flow of guest arrivals and departures. You will also support the training and development of front office staff, ensuring adherence to Marriott standards and company policies.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Oversee daily front desk operations, including managing reservations, room status, and guest accounts.
* Assist in training, supervising, and scheduling front desk agents and other front office staff.
* Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests, ensuring prompt and professional resolution.
* Process guest payments, manage billing, and resolve discrepancies.
* Maintain accurate records and reports related to front office performance and guest feedback.
* Support the Front Office Manager in implementing and enforcing hotel policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with safety, security, and emergency procedures.
**Requirements**
* Proven experience in a similar front office management role within a luxury or upscale hotel environment.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a front office team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a guest-centric approach.
* Proficiency in relevant software systems, including property management systems (PMS) and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the operation.
* High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
* Knowledge of Marriott International standards and practices is advantageous.
