About the Role
This position involves providing essential administrative support within the procurement and records management functions. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate and accessible records while ensuring procurement activities adhere to established policies and procedures. Your contributions will be fundamental to the operational efficiency of our centre.Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the management and maintenance of procurement records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Support the procurement team with administrative tasks, including document preparation, tracking, and filing.
- Contribute to the organization and upkeep of physical and digital records systems.
- Perform data entry and verification tasks related to procurement transactions and records.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather information and resolve record-related queries.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation as required by the procurement and records management functions.
Requirements
- Educational background in business administration, office management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience in administrative support, preferably within a procurement or records management environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong proficiency in relevant software applications, including word processing and spreadsheet programs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
