The Land Transport Authority (LTA) of Singapore seeks a highly skilled Senior/Executive Engineer to join the Commuter Infrastructure Development (Civil 2) team. This pivotal role involves leading the design, planning, and execution of critical bus depot and bus interchange/terminal projects, contributing directly to Singapore's efficient and reliable public transport network. You will play a key part in shaping the infrastructure that supports the daily commute of thousands of passengers, ensuring projects meet stringent safety, quality, and schedule requirements while adhering to regulatory standards.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of assigned bus depot and bus interchange/terminal projects. This encompasses the full project lifecycle, from initial feasibility studies and detailed design development through to construction supervision and project handover. Your expertise will be crucial in translating complex engineering requirements into practical, buildable solutions that enhance commuter experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, planning, and construction supervision of bus depot and bus interchange/terminal projects.
• Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders (e.g., project managers, consultants, contractors) and external partners (e.g., government agencies, public transport operators).
• Ensure all project activities comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
• Conduct site inspections and progress reviews to monitor construction quality and address any issues promptly.
• Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and construction drawings.

Requirements

• Professional Engineering Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on public infrastructure projects, particularly bus depots and bus interchanges/terminals.
• Proven track record in managing complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project management practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
