Senior Lecturer/ Lecturer (Law)

Temasek Polytechnic seeks a dedicated Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Law to contribute to the development of skilled legal professionals. About the Role

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the curriculum and delivering high-quality education within the Law discipline. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, industry-relevant curriculum and teaching materials for undergraduate law programs.
• Conduct effective teaching, assessment, and student support within a polytechnic setting.
• Collaborate with industry partners to ensure curriculum alignment with current legal, compliance, and regulatory practices.
• Contribute to program development, review, and enhancement initiatives.
• Engage in scholarly activities, research, and professional development to maintain expertise.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to students, fostering their professional growth.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Law (LL.M.) or equivalent, with a strong academic record.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level, preferably in law or a related field.
• Proven ability to design and implement effective teaching strategies and assessment methods.
• Demonstrated commitment to student learning and development.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of Singapore's legal system, corporate governance, and regulatory frameworks is advantageous.
• Experience with digital tools and platforms relevant to legal education is beneficial.
