Full Stack Engineer - Agentic SOC

ScienTec Consulting is seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join their team in developing a cutting-edge Agentic Security Operations Centre (SOC) platform. This role is pivotal as the company transitions from a Proof of Concept (POC) phase to full-scale production deployment for a significant government project. The successful candidate will contribute to building a robust, automated security infrastructure designed to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.

About the Role

You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and integrating the core components of the Agentic SOC platform. This involves leveraging modern full-stack technologies to create scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. Your work will directly impact the platform's performance and reliability as it moves into production, requiring a proactive approach to problem-solving and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the full-stack architecture of the Agentic SOC platform.
• Implement secure, scalable, and high-performance backend services and APIs.
• Develop responsive and intuitive frontend interfaces for SOC operators.
• Integrate third-party security tools and cloud services, particularly AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and solutions.
• Contribute to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Identify and implement improvements to system efficiency and security.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer with a strong background in building web applications.
• Deep expertise in both frontend and backend development technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS, including infrastructure as code (IaC) and serverless architectures.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).
• Understanding of security best practices and SOC operations principles.
• Experience working on government or highly regulated projects is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
