About the Role

As a [LTA-DPO] Developer, Full Stack, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge digital applications and services. Your work will directly support the LTA's strategic goals in transforming the motoring landscape, focusing on creating seamless, user-centric digital experiences. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to translate complex requirements into high-quality, maintainable code. This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for leveraging technology to drive meaningful change within the public sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications and microservices using modern web technologies (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, frameworks like React/Angular/Vue, Node.js, Python, or similar).
• Design and implement efficient, secure, and scalable database solutions, including both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate in agile development environments, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups to deliver features on schedule.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to established coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring quality across the team's deliverables.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and infrastructure.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.

Requirements

• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Full-Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to build and deliver complete web applications.
• Deep proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or similar).
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, or equivalent) and RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
• Strong understanding of database design and experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within an agile team environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
