As Singapore advances its vision for sustainable and efficient mobility, the MOT seeks a dynamic Executive/Senior Executive to lead initiatives in the rapidly evolving private and shared mobility sectors. This role is pivotal in shaping policies and strategies that enhance Singapore's position as a global leader in innovative transport solutions.

About the Role

You will be at the forefront of developing and implementing strategies for private and shared mobility within Singapore's comprehensive transport ecosystem. This involves collaborating across government agencies, industry partners, and international stakeholders to foster innovation, ensure regulatory alignment, and promote sustainable mobility options that meet the evolving needs of Singapore's residents and businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for private and shared mobility initiatives, aligning with national transport objectives.
  • Lead policy development and regulatory frameworks to support the growth of safe, efficient, and sustainable private and shared mobility services.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and partnerships with industry players, technology providers, and academic institutions.
  • Monitor global trends and best practices in private and shared mobility to inform Singapore's approach.
  • Provide expert analysis and recommendations on mobility challenges and opportunities.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as transport planning, urban studies, engineering, economics, or public policy.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of progressively responsible experience in transport policy, urban mobility, or a related field, with significant exposure to private and shared mobility.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing strategic initiatives, managing complex projects, and influencing policy outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
