About the Role
The Assistant/ Deputy Manager, Projects will play a pivotal role in supporting the strategic objectives of the Department of Estates & Development. This position emphasizes collaboration and positive workplace culture, contributing significantly to the department's ongoing achievements and reputation. The role involves managing project workflows, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects align with institutional goals and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage project planning, execution, and delivery within the Estates & Development department.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless project implementation.
- Develop and maintain effective communication channels to foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful outcomes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of departmental processes and project management practices.
Requirements
- Relevant degree in a field such as Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
