About the Role
The ELC Associate Teacher will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education within our Early Learning Centre (ELC). You will collaborate closely with the ELC Lead Teacher and other faculty to implement our internationally-recognized curriculum, designed to inspire young learners through inquiry-based exploration and discovery. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the foundational educational experiences of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the ELC curriculum and educational standards.
- Facilitate a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and active participation.
- Assess student progress through observation, documentation, and informal assessments, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices for early childhood education.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of student learning and development.
- Support the implementation of school-wide initiatives and events related to early childhood education.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching in an early learning or primary school setting, ideally within an international or inquiry-based context.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and effective early childhood pedagogy.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging, student-centered learning experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for fostering young learners' potential.
