About the Role

The Recovery Officer will be responsible for investigating and resolving overdue accounts, communicating with customers to understand their circumstances, and implementing appropriate recovery actions. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to ethical and professional conduct.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate and manage the account recovery process for overdue customer accounts.
  • Communicate professionally with customers via phone, email, or other channels to discuss payment arrangements or resolve disputes.
  • Document all interactions and recovery actions accurately and thoroughly in the company's systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., collections, legal, customer service) to coordinate recovery efforts and escalate complex cases.
  • Ensure all recovery activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Analyze customer payment histories and identify potential risks or patterns requiring special attention.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar recovery or collections role, preferably within the financial services or telecommunications industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to effectively communicate with customers in difficult situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of accounts efficiently.
  • Proficiency with standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite) and CRM systems.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
