About the Role
This position is central to maintaining the integrity and accessibility of sponsorship data. The officer will be responsible for managing the collection, verification, and dissemination of sponsorship information, ensuring it aligns with World Vision's policies and procedures. This role supports the broader mission by enabling transparent and effective resource allocation and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date sponsorship information databases and records.
- Verify the accuracy of data related to sponsored children, families, and community projects.
- Ensure compliance with World Vision's sponsorship policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
- Provide timely and accurate sponsorship information to relevant internal teams and external partners as needed.
- Support community development initiatives by ensuring sponsorship data informs program planning and implementation.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve data-related queries and improve information flow.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Community Development, Information Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in managing data or information systems within a humanitarian or development context.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a team and with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Understanding of community development principles and humanitarian principles is advantageous.
