Description

We are seeking a Manager, GFFBS TXC - Transfer Pricing MY to join our team at CIMB in Malaysia. You will play a critical part in managing complex pricing arrangements across our global operations, providing analytical support to business units, and contributing to strategic decision-making processes. About the Role

This position requires a proactive professional with a deep understanding of transfer pricing principles and international tax frameworks. You will be responsible for managing transfer pricing projects, conducting benchmarking analyses, and ensuring alignment with corporate tax objectives. Collaboration with finance, legal, and business teams is essential to address transfer pricing challenges and support business growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain transfer pricing policies and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive transfer pricing studies and benchmarking analyses for various business units.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to business leaders on transfer pricing implications of strategic decisions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of transfer pricing documentation for audits and regulatory submissions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve transfer pricing issues and optimize tax efficiency.
  • Stay abreast of evolving transfer pricing regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in transfer pricing, tax compliance, or related finance roles.
  • Proven expertise in transfer pricing methodologies, including comparable uncontrolled price (CUP), resale price, and cost-plus approaches.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
