The Accounts Receivable position plays a crucial role within the Finance & Accounting department at External Listings, based in Surabaya, East Java. About the Role
This position involves working within the finance team to manage the company's accounts receivable processes. Key Responsibilities
- Verify the accuracy of financial figures, postings, and supporting documents related to customer accounts and incoming payments.
- Ensure all entries are mathematically correct and coded appropriately according to established financial procedures.
- Organize, secure, and maintain comprehensive records for accounts receivable, including invoices, payment confirmations, and customer correspondence.
- Process incoming payments accurately, reconciling them with outstanding invoices and updating customer account statuses.
- Assist in the preparation of reports summarizing accounts receivable activity and outstanding balances.
- Collaborate with other finance team members and potentially sales or customer service departments to resolve billing inquiries or discrepancies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an accounts receivable or similar financial role, demonstrating a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling numerical data and financial records.
- Proficiency with standard accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
