The Building and Construction Authority(BCA) seeks an experienced Executive or Senior Project Manager to join its Project Management Department. This role is pivotal in leading the planning, execution, and delivery of projects focused on enhancing residential environments for seniors. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of these in-home improvement initiatives, ensuring they meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements while delivering tangible benefits to the community.
About the Role
You will spearhead projects aimed at creating safer, more accessible, and comfortable living spaces for seniors. This involves close collaboration with various stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and community partners, to manage complex project scopes, budgets, and timelines effectively. Your leadership will be crucial in driving these initiatives to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of senior-friendly enhancement projects from inception through to handover.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure deliverables are achieved on time and within financial constraints.
- Develop and implement robust project management methodologies and quality assurance processes tailored to the sector.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams, external contractors, and regulatory bodies to secure approvals and manage risks.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues early, and implement corrective actions to maintain project momentum.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory submissions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally within the construction, infrastructure, or public sector, managing projects of significant complexity and scale.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Deep understanding of project management principles, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field are advantageous.
