Hotel Cleanliness Supervisor

The Hotel Cleanliness Supervisorplays a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction within our hotel. This position involves overseeing the housekeeping operations to ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and amenities meet our quality benchmarks. The supervisor is responsible for verifying that cleaning tasks are completed to specification and that the hotel environment remains safe, welcoming, and impeccably presented for guests. This role requires a proactive approach to quality assurance and effective management of housekeeping staff to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and pool facilities after cleaning to verify adherence to established quality standards and procedures.
• Run daily sold room reports and verify room status to ensure accurate occupancy tracking and efficient room allocation.
• Assess room readiness for guest occupancy, confirming that all cleaning tasks, amenities, and maintenance requests are completed satisfactorily.
• Coordinate with housekeeping staff to address any quality issues, provide feedback, and ensure consistent performance across all cleaning teams.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or discrepancies to the appropriate department.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections and quality assessments for reporting and continuous improvement purposes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping, hospitality, or a related service industry.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all tasks.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate housekeeping staff.
• Knowledge of cleaning standards, procedures, and best practices for maintaining guest room and public area cleanliness.
