Dock Dispatch Specialist

PT Max Potensia Indonesia is seeking a dedicated Dock Dispatch Specialist to join our operations team in West Kalimantan. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our dock facilities, contributing directly to the efficiency and reliability of our supply chain. About the Role

The Dock Dispatch Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods in and out of our dock area. This involves managing the scheduling and dispatch of vehicles, ensuring accurate documentation for all shipments, and maintaining clear communication with drivers, warehouse staff, and management. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to strict safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the scheduling and dispatch of trucks and other vehicles for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Verify the accuracy of shipment documentation, including manifests, bills of lading, and delivery instructions.
• Maintain clear communication with drivers regarding pickup/drop-off times, locations, and any potential delays.
• Ensure all dock operations comply with established safety procedures and company policies.
• Monitor dock activity and report any issues or bottlenecks to the operations manager.
• Assist with the preparation of daily reports on dock operations and shipment status.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or a related field is advantageous.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a logistics, warehouse, or dispatch role, preferably within a similar operational setting.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
• Proficiency with basic computer software for documentation and reporting.
• Understanding of standard shipping procedures and documentation requirements.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adherence to all safety regulations.
