Tax Accountant (Global)

Reboot Monkey is a global datacenter services provider seeking a detail-oriented Tax Accountant to manage tax compliance and financial reporting across our international operations. This is a 100% remote position designed for a professional who excels in precision and managing complex, cross-border financial tasks. The role involves ensuring accurate tax filings and financial statements for our diverse global footprint, requiring a proactive approach to navigating varying international tax regulations and reporting standards.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the comprehensive tax compliance and financial reporting functions for Reboot Monkey's international business units. This includes preparing and filing corporate income tax returns, sales and use tax returns, and other relevant tax documentation across multiple jurisdictions. You will also support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls. The position demands meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional tax matters efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate income tax returns and other tax returns for international operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage cross-border tax compliance, including transfer pricing documentation and international tax filings.
• Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure tax and financial reporting accuracy.
• Maintain and update tax calendars and ensure deadlines are met across all jurisdictions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting or a related financial role, preferably within a multinational or global company.
• Proven experience with corporate income tax compliance and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of international tax regulations and cross-border tax issues.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
