About the Role

• Lead and deliver comprehensive Biology lessons to students at various levels, ensuring curriculum objectives are met.
• Develop and implement engaging, innovative teaching strategies and lesson plans aligned with educational standards.
• Provide mentorship and academic guidance to students, fostering their intellectual growth and curiosity in the life sciences.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall Biology program and contribute to curriculum development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver effective Biology lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress through various methods, including assignments, examinations, and practical assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, and school events.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a closely related field.
• Proven experience as a Biology teacher, preferably within a secondary or senior secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the national Biology curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and colleagues.
