About the Role

The Tenaga Las position is crucial for maintaining the integrity and quality of the company's products or structures. This role requires a strong understanding of welding techniques, safety protocols, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using various techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, arc welding) on metal components.
• Inspect completed welds for defects, adherence to specifications, and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure project timelines are met.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding procedure specifications (WPS).

Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification: Diploma or equivalent in Welding Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Welder, preferably within the manufacturing or construction sector.
• Proficiency with common welding equipment and techniques.
• Strong knowledge of welding safety standards and practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet project deadlines.
• Physical capability to perform the duties, including standing for extended periods and handling heavy materials.
