On Site Services Specialist - Power Transformer (PTR)

We are seeking a qualified andmotivated Site Service Specialist to join our power transformer service team in Jakarta. This role offers the opportunity to work on critical electrical infrastructure, support on‑site activities, and contribute to the reliable operation of power systems for a leading energy solutions provider.

About the Role

The Site Service Specialist will be responsible for delivering comprehensive service support for Power Transformer (PTR) assets. The position combines hands‑on technical work with client interaction, ensuring that maintenance, testing, and commissioning activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, Diagnostics, and repairs on power transformers and related high‑voltage equipment.
• Conduct troubleshooting and fault analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in the overhaul, testing, installation, and commissioning of PTR units at client sites.
• Prepare detailed service reports, documentation, and records of work performed.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams and external contractors to ensure project timelines are met.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements while working on high‑voltage systems.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within power transformer service environments.
• Solid understanding of transformer theory, construction, and testing methodologies.
• Professional certification or degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in diverse on‑site conditions.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in technical reporting.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and accommodate flexible working hours as needed.
