The Health Promotion Board (HPB) is seeking a dedicated HR Talent & Leadership Development Lead for a 1-year contract position based in Singapore. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to HPB's mission of fostering a healthier nation by shaping the future workforce and leadership within the organization. You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and evaluating strategic talent development initiatives aimed at cultivating high-potential individuals and strengthening leadership capabilities across HPB.
About the Role
This contract position focuses on driving the development and execution of HPB's talent and leadership strategies. You will be responsible for identifying key talent needs, designing impactful development programs, and building a robust leadership pipeline to support HPB's long-term goals of creating a healthier Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive talent development programs including leadership development, high-potential identification, and succession planning initiatives.
- Design and deliver targeted training and development interventions to enhance leadership capabilities and managerial effectiveness across HPB.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand talent needs and design development solutions aligned with HPB's strategic objectives.
- Establish metrics and track the effectiveness of talent development programs to ensure continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching and mentoring support to emerging leaders and high-potential employees.
- Contribute to the overall HR strategy, particularly in the areas of talent acquisition and retention, by focusing on development pathways.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on talent development, leadership development, and succession planning.
- Proven track record in designing, implementing, and evaluating successful leadership development programs and talent initiatives.
- Excellent understanding of HR best practices, particularly in talent management and organizational development.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business needs into effective development strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience working within the public sector or large organizations is advantageous.
