Manager Turbine Support

Constellation Energy seeks a dynamic and dedicated Manager of Turbine Support to lead operations at our Pottstown, PA facility. This pivotal role involves overseeing the maintenance, reliability, and performance of critical turbine systems, ensuring uninterrupted power generation and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong leadership skills to manage a team and drive continuous improvement in turbine support activities.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the overall management and execution of turbine support functions, including planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This position requires a proactive leader who can foster a culture of reliability, safety, and operational efficiency within the turbine support team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of turbine support technicians and engineers, providing direction, coaching, and performance management.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, including preventive and predictive maintenance programs, to maximize turbine availability and reliability.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of turbine-related issues and project execution.
• Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify trends, root causes of failures, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure all turbine support activities adhere to established safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and other support functions to optimize turbine performance and support overall plant objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in turbine operations, maintenance, or a related technical field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Proven experience managing maintenance activities for large-scale industrial turbines or similar rotating equipment.
• Strong understanding of turbine systems, maintenance practices, and reliability engineering principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on safety and operational excellence.
