Chief Engineer - Charcoal Production Factory

About the Role

You will be responsible for the overall technical management and leadership of the production facility in Karanganyar, Jawa Tengah. This encompasses overseeing all engineering aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the engineering team responsible for plant operations, maintenance, and process optimization.
• Develop, implement, and monitor production schedules and quality control procedures to meet company standards and customer requirements.
li>Ensure all production processes adhere to strict safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with management on capital expenditure planning and project execution related to plant upgrades or expansions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in engineering management within a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record in process optimization and quality control.
• Extensive knowledge of charcoal production processes, including briquette manufacturing techniques.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop an engineering team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
