Description

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) in Singapore seeks a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our Systems & Planning team as an Asset Management (Systems & Planning) Engineer. This role is pivotal in supporting the management and enhancement of our rail asset management framework, ensuring all operations adhere strictly to regulatory standards and best practices.

About the Role

You will play a key part in developing, implementing, and maintaining robust asset management strategies and frameworks specifically tailored for our rail systems. Your focus will be on ensuring the long-term integrity, safety, and efficiency of our rail assets while driving continuous improvement in our asset management processes. This involves close collaboration with various internal teams and stakeholders to achieve our operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the rail asset management framework and associated processes.
  • Ensure all asset management activities and reporting comply fully with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of asset lifecycle management activities, including condition assessment and maintenance strategies.
  • Support the analysis of asset performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering, operations, and planning teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of asset management initiatives.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on asset management best practices and standards.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related discipline) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of [X] years of relevant experience in asset management, particularly within the rail or transportation infrastructure sector.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing asset management frameworks and processes.
  • Strong understanding of rail asset management principles, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
