About the Role

The Insurance Product Expert will be responsible for providing expert advice and support on our insurance products to internal stakeholders and potentially external clients. This role involves deep product knowledge, ensuring accurate information dissemination, and contributing to the effective management of our insurance portfolio within the Malacca region.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise internal teams and potentially external clients on the features, benefits, and suitability of HSBC's insurance products.
• Maintain and update comprehensive product knowledge through continuous learning and research.
• Collaborate with product management and sales teams to ensure accurate product information and support effective marketing and sales efforts.
• Assist in the development and delivery of training materials or presentations related to insurance products.
• Respond to inquiries and provide clear explanations regarding insurance product terms and conditions.
• Contribute to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of insurance product offerings based on market feedback and internal requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience, ideally 3+ years, within the insurance or financial services industry, demonstrating strong product knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
