Utility and Facility Coordinator

Veolia, a global leader in environmental services, is seeking a dedicated Utility and Facility Coordinator to join our team in East Java. About the Role

The Utility and Facility Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of essential utility services and facility operations within our East Java location. This position involves ensuring the smooth functioning of critical infrastructure, managing vendor relationships, and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the procurement, installation, and maintenance of utility systems (water, electricity, gas, etc.) and facility equipment.
• Manage vendor contracts and relationships for utility services and facility maintenance, ensuring timely performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor utility consumption and facility performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency measures.
• Conduct regular inspections of utility systems and facility areas to ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance are met.
• Respond to maintenance requests and coordinate repairs for utility systems and facility issues promptly.
• Assist in the development and implementation of facility management plans and operational procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to utility usage, maintenance activities, and facility conditions.

Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), Facility Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience (typically 2-3 years) in facility management, utility coordination, or a similar operational role, preferably within a corporate or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of utility systems (water, power, HVAC, etc.) and facility operations principles.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., maintenance management systems, spreadsheets).
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to facility operations.
