About the Role

In this position you will design, implement, and maintain robust test automation frameworks that support the full software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and quality assurance specialists to ensure that releases meet the highest standards of reliability and performance. The role emphasizes scalability, continuous integration, and the integration of automated testing into rapid development pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated test suites for game engines and backend services.
  • Maintain and extend continuous integration pipelines that run automated tests.
  • Write and maintain test scripts using languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
  • Integrate automated testing into daily development workflows and release processes.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
  • Improve test coverage metrics and promote best practices across the team.
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of quality within a cross‑functional environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in software test automation, preferably within gaming or interactive media.
  • Strong programming skills in at least one scripting language such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and concepts, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural team spanning multiple continents.
  • Solid problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Typically a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of game development concepts and performance considerations is a plus.
