About the Role
This position offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute significantly to the daily management and smooth functioning of the hotel's front office. Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing key front office areas and ensuring exceptional guest service standards are consistently met. Your leadership and operational skills will be essential in maintaining the hotel's reputation for excellence in guest accommodation and service delivery.Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of front office staff, including Bell/Door Staff, ensuring adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
- Assist the Front Office Manager in managing front office operations, including check-in/check-out processes, room assignments, and guest inquiries.
- Monitor and manage front office budgets, including revenue and expenditure, to support financial goals.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments (Housekeeping, Concierge, Security) to facilitate seamless guest experiences.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and operational standards within the front office area.
- Participate in staff training, scheduling, and performance management to develop team capabilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a front office or guest services capacity.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate front office staff.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the operational needs.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and front office procedures is advantageous.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant hospitality management qualifications are desirable.
