This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless customer service and operational efficiency by addressing complex technical inquiries and coordinating support across various departments.
About the Role
The Branch Specialist Technical Support will serve as the primary point of contact for resolving intricate technical issues related to paint specifications, product applications, and on-line systems. This position requires a deep understanding of paint technology and the ability to troubleshoot problems effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and minimizing operational disruptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review paint specifications to ensure they meet product application requirements and customer needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems encountered by branch staff and customers, including system errors and product application challenges.
- Coordinate technical service issues between the branch location, sales representatives, and the product service room to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer technical service interactions and resolutions.
- Provide training and guidance to branch personnel on technical product features and troubleshooting procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical support, customer service, or a related field, preferably within the paint or coatings industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers, sales teams, and internal departments.
- Knowledge of paint products, specifications, and application techniques is highly desirable.
