We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven professional to lead the Rooms & Guest Services Operations for a premier property located in Jakarta. This role provides a unique opportunity to shape the strategic direction of hotel operations, champion exceptional guest experiences, and drive operational excellence across all service areas.

About the Role

In this position the Director will act as the strategic business leader of the property’s Hotel Operations, overseeing the full spectrum of guest‑service functions. The role demands close collaboration with senior managers, the development of long‑term operational strategies, and the continual improvement of service standards to align with brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and implement operational strategies that support sustainable growth and enhance the property’s competitive position.
  • Department Oversight: Direct the Front Office, Recreation/Health Club, Housekeeping, and other guest‑service divisions to ensure coordinated, efficient operations.
  • Performance Management: Establish key performance indicators, analyze results, and initiate action plans to meet or exceed targets.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Develop, monitor, and control operational budgets, optimize staffing levels, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Guest Experience Excellence: Champion initiatives that elevate service quality, resolve guest concerns promptly, and foster loyalty.
  • Standard Development: Create and enforce standard operating procedures, quality assurance protocols, and best‑practice guidelines.
  • Team Development: Mentor department heads, cultivate a collaborative culture, and promote continuous professional development.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to safety, health, and regulatory requirements across all service areas.

Requirements

  • Extensive Hospitality Experience: Proven track record in multi‑departmental hotel operations, preferably within a mid‑to‑upscale property environment.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to translate business objectives into actionable operational plans.
  • Analytical Acumen: Strong decision‑making capabilities supported by data‑driven insights.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for engaging with leadership, staff, and external partners.
  • Problem‑Solving Skills: Capacity to address complex operational challenges swiftly.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with property management systems and operational reporting tools.
  • Language Competency: Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia is preferred.
