About the Role
In this position you will design comprehensive editorial calendars, guide cross‑functional content production, and ensure alignment with audience insights and performance metrics. You will collaborate closely with creative, analytics, and account teams, leveraging WPP’s Open platform to translate data‑driven strategies into compelling content that resonates across digital and traditional channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed editorial calendars spanning multiple platforms.
- Lead brainstorming sessions to generate innovative content concepts and themes.
- Coordinate with creative teams to produce on‑brand visual and written assets.
- Analyze audience and performance data to refine content strategies in real time.
- Manage relationships with external publishers, influencers, and partners.
- Ensure all content complies with brand guidelines, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
- Track key performance indicators and prepare regular performance reports for leadership.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in content planning, editorial management, or related fields.
- Demonstrated success in delivering integrated content campaigns for major consumer brands.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in data‑driven planning tools and dashboards.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with WPP’s Open platform or comparable content management ecosystems is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline.
