About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of machinery, vehicles, and infrastructure within our facilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on mechanical equipment, vehicles, and associated systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical faults and malfunctions using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Execute repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and safely, adhering to established procedures and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.

  • Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Mechanic or Maintenance Technician, preferably within a similar industrial or resource development setting.
  • Strong technical skills in mechanical systems, including proficiency with common hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in a relevant field is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a potentially demanding environment.
