Senior Security Officer - Banking Environment

G4S is seekinga highly motivated and experienced Senior Security Officer to join our team in Singapore, providing critical security coverage for a prominent banking environment within the Harbourfront/CBD area. This role demands a dedicated professional capable of managing complex security operations across a rotating shift pattern, ensuring the highest standards of safety and risk mitigation for our client's assets and personnel.

About the Role

The Senior Security Officer (SSO) will operate at the forefront of our client's security strategy, leveraging their expertise in banking security protocols and advanced surveillance systems. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of security procedures and the ability to maintain vigilance during extended shifts, including overnight coverage. The role involves direct responsibility for monitoring critical security systems and responding effectively to incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide continuous 24/7 monitoring and assessment of security systems, including alarms and surveillance equipment, within the banking environment.
• Maintain a detailed and accurate daily tracker of all security alarms and events using designated software or systems.
• Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, following established protocols and procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections of assigned areas to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities or breaches.
• Collaborate effectively with the security team and other stakeholders to ensure seamless security operations and incident reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall security objectives of the banking facility.

Requirements

• Minimum of [X] years of proven experience in a similar security role, preferably within a banking or high-security financial institution.
• Possession of a valid Security Clearance or equivalent certification required for the banking environment.
