This is a fully site‑based role involving close coordination with the project manager and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project completion.

About the Role

In this position you will work directly on construction sites, overseeing all aspects of sewer infrastructure development. You will act as the primary technical liaison between the project management team, contractors, and client stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing technical challenges as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities on assigned sewer projects.
• Prepare, review, and update technical drawings, specifications, and construction schedules.
• Ensure workmanship quality and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities for seamless material and service delivery.
• Document project progress, issues, and changes, reporting findings to the Project Manager.
• Conduct site inspections to verify adherence to design tolerances and engineering constraints.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in site engineering, preferably on underground or sewer systems.
• Proficiency with drafting software such as AutoCAD and familiarity with project management tools.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore’s building codes, utility standards, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional certification or registration with the relevant engineering board is advantageous.
