Handyman

ExternalListings is seeking a skilled Handyman to join our Engineering & Facilities team in Bali. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties by addressing maintenance needs and enhancing guest satisfaction through effective problem-solving and communication.

About the Role

The Handyman will be responsible for maintaining the physical condition of our facilities, responding to guest and customer repair requests, and performing essential preventive maintenance tasks. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying potential issues before they escalate, ensuring a safe and functional environment for all users.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest and customer repair requests, diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, customers, and internal teams regarding maintenance needs and progress.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on tools, equipment, and facilities to minimize downtime and ensure safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities performed.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and resource allocation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in general maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, and working in various environments.
• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment commonly used in maintenance and repair work.
