Receiving Clerk

The Receiving Clerk position at External Listings in Jakarta - Khusus, Qalyubia is responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of incoming freight and merchandise. This role involves the critical process of receiving, unloading, and processing all deliveries according to established procedures and documentation. The successful candidate will ensure that incoming goods are properly accounted for, staged, and made available for further distribution or storage, maintaining the integrity of the supply chain.

About the Role

• Receive, unload, and process all incoming freight and deliveries accurately and efficiently.
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Stage and organize merchandise in designated areas according to warehouse procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to receiving activities.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical receipt and unloading of all incoming shipments.
• Process receiving reports and match them against purchase orders and invoices.
• Stage, organize, and store received merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation for all received items.
• Ensure compliance with all warehouse safety and security protocols.
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the appropriate supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in a receiving, warehouse, or inventory management role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as required by the role.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
